A waterfront four-bedroom house in Rhodes sold for a very impressive $4.75 million at auction on Saturday.
The house at 91 Llewellyn St on a 1018 sqm block of land sold through Dib Chidiac, director of agency Dib Chidiac.
The sale price is also reportedly a suburb record for a residential home in Rhodes.
There were eight registered bidders on the day with bidding kicking off in the late-$3 millions.
It is clear why the property was so popular, with a spacious layout and access to a beach.
It had been in the same family for over 30 years and last sold for $575,000 back in May 1988.
It was a great weekend for Mr Chidiac and agent Paul Caradonna, who also sold a five-bedroom house in Cabarita for $3.95 million.
The property at 21a Dorking Rd has a versatile layout and panoramic views of the water. There is a private boat ramp and waterfront lawn.
